Meet Ausra & Rasa

You may think that running a clothes brand would involve designing, selecting fabrics and materials, productions, shootings, presenting collections and sales.

What would you think if we mentioned feelings?
When we started to work developing the bases of our future brand, as we mentioned many times before, we’ve passed a process of hours and hours of conversations. But those conversations rarely included design references, colour ranges or trends.
We realized after all those brainstorming sessions, that we were talking about women, shapes, healthy life, feelings, ways of living... It was after all those conversations that our first collection was born, those conversations were so fundamental at the point that one of the possible names for our brand was Conversations…
After launching our Collection #01 feedback started to come to us. We found out, there was a big common point in different women with different backgrounds, and it was how they “started to feel”, when wearing our designs.
We would love to share the experience of Ausra and Rasa.
Ausra is a Lithuanian retired physician, and she lives in Porto. We met her when we started our group of cold baths in the ocean three years ago. When Ausra came to try the collection on for the first time, it was a very emotional moment for her and for us. She came wearing 10 to 10 from head to toe, in tears and said, “You don’t understand, I see myself, I feel these clothes were designed for me”.
Two years after, she is wearing all our designs, she feels confident, looks amazing, ageless and extremely chic.
She mixes 10to10 different collections pieces in a way that always surprises us, we helped her without knowing it, to create her own new style and rebuilt her self-confidence.
Ausra was so happy with 10to10 designs, that she introduced the brand to her cousin Rasa who lives in Lithuania.
But Rasa’s story is for a second chapter!
In the meantime, we asked Ausra which are her 10 favorite things, here her top 10 ranking:
In first place: 1- My family
And in no particular order:
2- Cold ocean and our mermaid/mermen community
3- Pines
4- Shostakovich
5- A. Helwa “Secrets of Divine Love”
6- Vilnius, Berlin, Porto
7- 10 to 10
8- Cats and birds are fascinating
9- My peacemaking studies and teachers
10- Sunrise
Hugs from Porto
Alejandra & Sandra
